Seraphina's Story

SERAPHINA is a charming short-haired calico with a primarily white body, black "batman" mask and black and orange across her back in a polka dot pattern. She is quite friendly and outgoing, greeting her foster mom each morning and supervising the preparation of her breakfast. She tolerates the other cats in the house, but prefers calm and submissive feline companions. She would also enjoy being the only cat in a household. She loves to play with laser toys and cat tunnels. She loves to be petted and receive affection, and is quite affectionate and loving in turn. As with most cats, Seraphina is initially shy and it will take some time for her to become fully acclimated to a new situation. Once she is comfortable she loves to spend time with her humans, although she also has a more independent nature and enjoys some alone time. Seraphina has a mild medical condition that is the result of overgrooming and flares up ONLY in times of stress (primarily being kenneled or crated). With time, this has improved dramatically in her foster home. She would do best in a quiet and calm environment with a companion or companions who will appreciate her quiet and steady warmth.

SERAPHINA has been spayed vaccinated, microchipped, and is negative for FeLV and FIV. Her adoption fee includes a free wellness visit with our vet partners. To meet Seraphina in foster care, submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt. A volunteer will contact you within 3-5 business days for a possible meet and greet. The $155 adoption fee allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community. For more information, send an email to adoptioninfo@CatRescues.org or call 541-225-4955 option 1.
