Serafina's Story
On April 19th a very young kitten was brought to Northwood Animal Hospital on emergency. She was found at Crystal Tractor (Woodville Hwy and Capital Circle). Upon arrival she was very ill, blood sugar low, body temp low. Emergency treatment was instituted. She only weighed 108 grams when she arrived with us.
We gave her an estimated DOB of 4-6-26. She is a gray tabby DSH female.
We hand raised her in hospital. She has had some issues with diarrhea and it took a long time for her to start gaining weight.
She is progressing through her kitten vaccines. She has been spayed and microchipped.
Her initial testing for FeLV/FIV showed her as positive for FIV. This may be transient antibody positive, contracted from her mother. We will retest her when she is older to see if she is truly infected or not.
Serafina and Penelope are best buds!

Name: Serafina
Gender: Female/Spayed
Birthday: 4/6/26
Current Location: Northwood Animal Hospital
Minimum Adoption Donation: $100
