MEET SERA! She is beauty. She is elegance. She is radiance. She is Sera. 1-year old Sera is looking for a home where she can finally be the baby! Sera is not only one of the most gorgeous girls ever, but she is so loving and gentle. Everything she does is in slow motion, from eating to headbutts to even big stretches. She believes in taking it easy and enjoying the little things, and we can understand why! Sera was brought to our shelter while still taking care of her newborn kittens. She had been found as a stray, fending not only for her life but also for the lives of her four young children. Somehow, this Momma protected and nurtured them until help arrived! We think the hardship and stress Sera endured before we met her is the reason why now, in the safety of our care, she has blossomed into the sweet, carefree, and easy-going girl she is now! If you walked past her kennel, you might not even notice Sera is there because she is most likely quietly snoozing away and relaxing in quiet comfort. All that changes when you approach her and offer her your hand! She gets right to biscuit making and headbutting and trying to get into your lap! She has shown no negative reactions to other cats, so we think she would do wonderfully as the only kitty in the home or with other cats. Really, we think Sera would be happy anywhere that she got cuddles and scratches! Sera is up to date on vaccines, spayed, microchipped, current on prevention, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. All Adoptions require a Pre-Adoption Interview with a YCAS Adoption Counselor, a meet and greet, and adoption approval. Every adoptable cat is Spayed or Neutered, implanted with a microchip, current on age appropriate vaccinations including a current 1 year Rabies Vaccination, and current on monthly Flea/tick prevention. All pets are behaviorally and medically evaluated prior to being placed up for adoption. The adoption fee is $77.
