Selena & Louisa (bonded sisters)'s Story
Sometimes all it takes is someone taking a closer look.

We were asked to help with six kittens born to two young mama cats living outdoors. The family believed the moms were feral and asked us to take only the kittens. We agreed, but with the condition that we would also have both moms spayed.

The moment we met them, we knew the story wasn't what anyone thought.
SELENA (solid gray) and LOUISA (gray tabby) aren't feral at all. They're incredibly sweet, affectionate young cats who simply found themselves raising babies outside. Instead of running from us, they welcomed our attention, proving they had merely been overlooked, not untouchable.

These beautiful sisters raised their kittens side by side, even nursing each other's babies. They have been partners through motherhood from the very beginning, and their bond is something truly special.

SELENA is a little shy when you first meet her, but she warms up quickly and has a gentle, loving nature. LOUISA is outgoing, full of personality, and makes friends almost instantly.

While they don't have to be adopted together, we'd love nothing more than to see these devoted sisters continue their journey side by side. They would also do well being adopted with one of their kittens if the perfect match comes along.

At just 12-15 months old, their lives are only beginning. After surviving life outdoors and raising six beautiful babies together, it's finally their turn to be loved, cherished, and spoiled the way they always deserved.

Both girls are spayed, vaccinated for rabies and distemper, dewormed, and have tested negative for FIV/FeLV.

If you think your home might be the happily-ever-after these amazing young moms have been waiting for, please complete an application at Passion4Paws.org/adopt.

They are being fostered in New Milford, CT.
