Seamus's Story

Seamus is a striking 3-year-old cat with a story that’s as unique as his personality. He was discovered living in a neighborhood where a kind homeowner fed strays, but when he tested positive FIV, Seamus needed a new path forward. Since then, he’s been patiently waiting in a dog crate while we work to find him a safe place to land.

Seamus isn’t aggressive, but he isn’t the cuddly type either. He’s independent and prefers his space, though he’s surprisingly calm and content in his crate, never once trying to escape. We believe he would thrive in one of two kinds of homes:
• A barn or working cat situation, where he can enjoy freedom, fresh air, and safety while helping keep pests away.
• A hands-off indoor roommate role, where he can coexist quietly without expectations for constant attention.

Because Seamus is FIV+, he’ll need a home that understands his needs and is willing to provide him the stable, stress-free environment he deserves.

Seamus may not be a lap cat, but he does deserve compassion, security, and a family who values him just the way he is. Could you be the one to give this beautiful boy a safe place to call home?

Apply: https://form.jotform.com/240778209099165

Ask us about our foster-to-adopt program.
