Seal Mitted Ragdoll's Story
This fluffernutter is a seal mitted rag doll. He's almost 10 years old now (neutered as a kitten) and is healthy and active for his age. Purrsonality wise, he is very affectionate and loves to sit in your lap, doing head butts, and is always the first one to greet you when you come home. He is a lap cat that loves human attention and head butts. When he's in your lap, he often makes biscuits so make sure to trim his nails (he's very good with that). When he's not there, he is quite playful and loves to chat. He would usually go along with all kinds of silly toys, but especially enjoy those with long, string shapes so he can chase and hunt. He will come with his favorite toys, food/snacks, cat bed, and his carrier.

He mats relatively easily and needs a bit of more grooming. He's a gorgeous cat and we have no doubt he'll bring a lot of love to a new family.

Unfortunately, the other cat in the home has become ill and its gotten to be too much for the owner, who feels the situation is unfair to this guy so made the difficult decision to regime him.

We strongly advise that no cat be placed in the company of children without supervision; nor should any cat or dog be put with a new pet without proper introduction and transition. It can be very traumatic for any pet to be incorrectly introduced to other unknown pets without proper separation and a slow, monitored introduction. We trust you will respect this recommendation and take all measures to carefully introduce a new pet to a resident pet.

The first step to the adoption process is to complete the adoption application. Follow directions below and complete all sections. Once reviewed, we will schedule a virtual interview and home visit. If you are approved, we will then arrange a meet and greet where you can spend time interacting with the cat. Submitting an interest inquiry through Petfinder without a completed application will delay the process.

Adoption application can be found on our website. Follow directions to submit.

www.companionanimalplacement.org

Cat Adoption Donation is $125.
