Meet Scully

Like his namesake (the flame-haired supernatural-doubting X-Files character), our feline Scully was once skeptical of humans. Or, so we thought (hence his ear tip)... WRONG!

Scully is house-trained and LOVES being indoors with humans. He's a good-natured soul and loves to play. The laser pointer is his most favorite toy! He likes to get onto high places and keep watch*. Vertical spaces are a big part of environmental enrichment for cats, so you can never have too many vertical spaces for them to hang out.

He loves rubs and scratches. And he is not shy when you're handing out treats. He's a fun-loving and playful/goofy guy looking for his forever home.

Scully is a very handsome boy. Look at that spotted and striped coat, reminiscent of his wild ancestors!

Scully is FIV+ (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus). FIV+ cats live fulfilling, healthy lives and have the same needs as Non-FIV cats.*

* FIV Fast Facts
> FIV causes cats to have compromised immune systems, so they may be more susceptible to common illnesses, such as a cold.
> FIV+ cats in a home environment with a nutritious diet and routine veterinary care can live long, healthy lives.
> FIV can be transferred from mother to kitten or from cat to cat, usually through a deep bite.
> Non-FIV cats can live indoors with FIV+ cats. As with any new cat, a proper introduction is recommended to reduce stress levels.

All our adoptable cats and kittens are:
* spayed / neutered
* vaccinated (rabies & FVRCP)
* tested negative for FIV & FeLV diseases
* parasite-free (dewormer & flea prevention)
* provided additional veterinarian visits, if needed for any health issues
* conveyed to you with all medical records at time of adoption
