Scotty's Story

Scotty is a handsome 8-year-old orange Domestic Short Hair with a heart as warm as his beautiful ginger coat. His world was turned upside down when his beloved person was moved to hospice care, and Scotty lost the only home he has ever known.

Understandably, Scotty is feeling scared, shy, and confused as he adjusts to so much change. But beneath that uncertainty is a sweet, gentle boy who simply needs time, patience, and love to feel safe again.

Scotty isn't the kind of cat who will demand attention the moment he arrives. Instead, he's looking for a compassionate adopter who will give him the chance to settle in at his own pace. With kindness and understanding, you'll see his true personality emerge - a loving companion who still has so much affection to give.

After losing everything familiar, Scotty deserves the opportunity to experience love and security once more. If you have room in your heart and home for a cat who just needs a little time to trust again, Scotty may be the perfect match. If this sounds like you, more information can be found below!
--------

If you are interested in adopting, please fill out our online adoption application by copying and pasting the following link into your browser: http://thecatconnection.org/adopt/adoption-application/

Following the instructions and filling out this application rather than emailing us will get you a quicker response.

Please also consider fostering as an alternative to adoption. Our policy is to adopt kittens in pairs. We find that kittens are much happier when they have a companion and they tend to expend their youthful energy on each other rather than on your couch! Kittens are adorable, but older cats can be wonderful pets as well and they tend to be overlooked, so please consider adopting an adult cat or two!

The Cat Connection is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3)organization of volunteers who rescue homeless cats.
