Scooter and Peppermint Patty's Story
Please read through the entire posting and requirements before applying via our questionnaire at alleycatproject.org/adopt. Please do not submit an inquiry via Petfinder.

Meet Scooter and Peppermint Patty, a bonded pair of kitten siblings! They are approximately 3 months old.

Scooter is a handsome short-haired brown tabby with the cutest spotted belly and an outgoing personality to match. He's always ready for adventure, whether he's chasing wand toys and plastic springs, scaling the kitten tree, or making sure his humans remember it's time for attention. Despite his zoomies, he's a total gentleman—he'll actually put on the brakes when he's sliding across the tile floor to avoid crashing into his sister (what a respectful little guy!). His fastest route to your heart? Churu treats and his beloved Da Bee toy.

Peppermint Patty, affectionately known as "Little Squeaker," is a sweet short-haired black-and-white girl with a gentle soul and the tiniest squeaky voice instead of a meow. She loves supervising the action from her cozy kitten hammock before deciding it's time to join the fun once she's feeling comfortable. She's also happy to remind Scooter who's in charge! If you happen to be giving Scooter too much attention, she'll let out an adorable squeak to let you know it's her turn. Back scritches, head rubs, and the Cat Charmer wand are the quickest ways to win her over.

Together, these two are the perfect sibling duo. Scooter brings the confidence and comedy, while Peppermint Patty adds sweetness and quiet charm. They're affectionate little purr machines who love spending time with their people once they feel at home. Peppermint Patty may take a bit longer to settle in, but Scooter will happily become your best friend after a Churu or two. Watching them wrestle, chase each other through the house, curl up together for naps, and look out for one another is guaranteed to make you smile. They're looking for a home where they can stay together and continue their adorable adventures.

What Scooter and Peppermint Patty are looking for in a home:

- They want to stay together forever and must be adopted as a pair.
- They can get nervous at first, so they need a kind and patient guide to help them feel comfortable with new experiences.
- They have lots of kitten energy and will benefit from plenty of active play time.
- They need to live indoors only.
- They have no known history with other cats.
- They have no known history with dogs.
- They have no known history with children.

All Alley Cat Projects cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated prior to adoption.

Alley Cat Project adoption fees are:

- $200 per cat or kitten
- $350 for pair of cats or kittens
- $50 for senior cat (over 8 years old)
- Flexible reduced fees for a cat with a chronic medical condition that requires ongoing care
- Additional charitable donations are appreciated and support our overall rescue efforts

Thank you for your interest in Scooter and Peppermint Patty! If your household fits the above criteria, you can apply to adopt them by filling out this questionnaire: alleycatproject.org/adopt

Only applicants who complete the questionnaire will be considered.
