Scarecrow - Winterville, GA's Story
Don’t let the name fool you, this bub isn’t scaring anyone! This handsome and well-dressed tux is a snuggler’s dream. He’s a bit unsure, yet very trusting to new people, happily popping out for some hopeful scritchies despite wearing his nervousness on his sleeve. Once he knows you’re a friend, forget about it…he’ll practically melt trying to show his affection, rubbing on everything in sight and purring his head off and rolling on the floor for belly rubs. In his foster’s house, he and his sister Pumpkin Patch share the guest bedroom, and guests have reported that Scarecrow is quite the nighttime snuggle bug as well! The last remaining question is how he gets along with other kitties, as his foster is working towards integrating him in with the resident cats of the house. One kitty he DEFINITELY gets along with is his sister, Pumpkin Patch. While the two aren’t bonded, per se, Scarecrow is definitely his sister’s security blanket in new situations, and they complement each other with very different-yet-rewarding personalities. Scarecrow and Pumpkin Patch were adopted out and returned together after not thriving in a house with very busy dogs. While Scarecrow tolerated them decently and has shown to be pretty adaptable when he needs to be, we think longer term he’d do better in a slightly quieter home, particularly if he goes home with his sister!

Adoption Application - http://fs17.formsite.com/cofas/catform/

All of our cats and kittens are fostered in homes so we know their personalities. They are spayed or neutered, tested for FIV and FeLV, up to date on shots, microchipped, de-wormed, and on flea preventative. Our goal is to match our fosters with the best home possible.

The adoption fees for our felines are as follows: $150 for kittens (or 2 for $250); $100 for adult cats (or 2 for $170); and $75 each for our special seniors/FIV+ kitties. Please email cofaspets@gmail.com for more information.

Not yet ready to adopt? You can sponsor a pet now to help pay for medical expenses, special diets, toys and treats, emergency medical care, etc. Our adoption fee rarely covers our expenses, so any size donation is appreciated!
