Scarecrow - Athens, GA's Story
Scarecrow has a huge personality. If you want a cat you won't know you live with, he is not the cat for you. But if you want a best friend to participate in all household activities and hang out with all day. Then he is perfect. Scarecrow was adopted out as a kitten to a house with big dogs and returned to us two years later through no fault of his own. But because he grew up around dogs he kind of has German shepherd energy. He is very outgoing and not afraid to voice his opinion. We mean this literally, he is a talkative boy and does not like to be left in a room with a closed door. Scarecrow likes to be in charge of his house and be the dominant animal. Because of this, he would struggle in a home with existing pets, but he does great with his sister, Pumpkin Patch, who understands the dynamic. Scarecrow requires attention from someone at all times, whether it be his people or his sister. He loves attention from people and will roll around on his back and rub up on people and even likes to be held. He is totally fine with strangers once he is comfortable in an environment. Scarecrow is also a really big boy, not overweight, just large. If you are looking for an outgoing, large and in charge tuxedo boy, he's the one for you. Pumpkin and Scarecrow are the perfect turnkey duo of cats. They are still young at only 2 years old, but they are past the crazy kitten era. They are very friendly to all people and love attention. They are also good in the house; they are top-notch litter box users and good about using scratching posts. The only downside is that they would thrive best as the only animals in the house.

Adoption Application - http://fs17.formsite.com/cofas/catform/

All of our cats and kittens are fostered in homes so we know their personalities. They are spayed or neutered, tested for FIV and FeLV, up to date on shots, microchipped, de-wormed, and on flea preventative. Our goal is to match our fosters with the best home possible.

The adoption fees for our felines are as follows: $150 for kittens (or 2 for $250); $100 for adult cats (or 2 for $170); and $75 each for our special seniors/FIV+ kitties. Please email cofaspets@gmail.com for more information.

Not yet ready to adopt?
