Scar's Story

Scar may have come from a community cat colony, but he’s discovered that the indoor life, and kind humans, are pretty great. He’s a quiet, reserved guy who takes a little time to feel comfortable, but once he does, his affectionate side really shines.

He enjoys gentle pets and calm companionship, often showing his love in soft, subtle ways. Scar isn’t one to demand attention, but he truly appreciates it and will lean in once he trusts you.

He’d do best in a peaceful home with someone patient enough to let him settle in at his own pace. With a little time and understanding, Scar will become a loyal, loving companion who proves that even the most reserved hearts have so much love to give.

Whiskers Rescue AR's Adoption Policy
We have an application and interview the candidates. We want our cats to go to a stable home and be both loved and safe. We are willing to work with our adopters to help set them up for success with things such as an explanation of medical needs, teaching skills needed for owning a cat, providing advice on introducing a new cat to a multi-cat home, and others. We look for someone who will give our cats a second chance and in turn we hope our cats will change their life.
