From her foster mom, Sue:<br/>Scamper is a deeply devoted little cat who forms incredibly strong bonds with her person. Once she trusts you, she wants to be close by, follow you around, and shower you with her quiet loyalty and affection.<br/><br/>One of the sweetest things she does is bring me her little tinsel balls as presents. She’ll proudly carry them over like tiny gifts, and I honestly think she might even play fetch sometimes.<br/><br/>Scamper loves being held and sitting in laps once she feels safe, but she does need time and patience in new environments. She can be shy at first and tends to take a while to fully settle in and trust that she’s home. But underneath that nervousness is an incredibly loving and devoted cat who truly wants connection.<br/><br/>She was found as a kitten with her sister and has spent most of her life around other cats, though she seems happiest in a quieter environment without a lot of animal activity. She would likely do best as the only pet or possibly with one calm, respectful cat.<br/><br/>Scamper would thrive in a peaceful home with someone patient who understands that some cats need extra time to feel secure. That means they are already used to real home life, and we truly know their personalities, habits, and what makes them special. They are safe, socialized, and ready to be part of a family. They’re not waiting to become housecats… they already are.
