Are you looking at me? Hello there, I'm Sally, though most folks prefer to call me Sassy Sally. When I first landed here, I was filled with fear and uncertainty, unsure of whom I could trust. It took a considerable amount of time for me to understand that everyone around me genuinely wanted to help, and that it was okay for me to accept gentle touches again. Even now, I have my own way of communicating when I'm ready for a peaceful nap--I simply give "the look!" <br/><br/>At the age of 16, my greatest wish is to find a calm, loving home where I can lounge comfortably and observe the birds fluttering just outside the window. You can also fill out an application online, and we'll be happy to set up an appointment time for you. 🐾 All cats and kittens adopted from the Boone Area Humane Society must be kept as indoor-only pets and may not be declawed. 🐾 Every cat is spayed/neutered, FeLV tested, microchipped, dewormed, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations before adoption.
