Sassy Girl's Story
SASSY GIRL is a female-spayed short hair tuxedo cat, born about August 2019. She was rescued with Buddy as stray kittens. Sassy Girl's owner sadly had to relinquish her (and Buddy) to YAPS early April 2026, because health problems forced her to move where no pets are allowed. Per her prior owner: "She's initially reserved/shy, but friendly when she knows you. She's an indoor only cat, good with other cats and children." We find her to be very stressed/insecure from the recent loss of her long-term home. Currently she spends most of her time in her sleeping spot, and accepts being petted. When adopted into a new home, she should initially be placed in a "safe room", to gradually adjust to her new surroundings
