Sashimi's Story

Hi, I’m Sashimi! My friends call me Sashi. Someone nice found me when I was just a couple days old. My mom thought I didn’t fit in and left me underneath a semi-truck at a warehouse. Since For the Love of Jane took me in, I’ve grown up with cats, dogs, and even a rabbit! I’m very snuggly and like to give kisses, so I’m not sure why I was left behind. Sleeping with my foster parents at night makes me feel safe and happy.

My best friend in the world is my foster sister, a little puppy. We play constantly! I hope my forever home has fun friends for me to play with and safe places to climb – these are my favorite things to do! Well, I also really like watching TV. I prefer action and adventure, but if I’m with my people, I’ll watch whatever is on.

I was pretty sick when I was a little baby. I struggled with chronic vomiting, but don't worry I'm all better now! I saw the fancy internal medicine doctors at THE Ohio State University and they helped me heal and thrive. I eat a special prescription gastrointestinal diet and don't have any issues with vomiting now. I can be a little naughty and try to eat things I shouldn't. I'm sure you will understand and help me stick to my special diet!

Sashimi's estimated birth date is 8/10/2025. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, fecal, tested negative, FIV/FELV tested negative, and on monthly flea/tick/heartworm prevention.

Please visit www.fortheloveofjanerescue.com/adoptions to apply to adopt!
