Sapphire's Story

A dramatic little sweetheart who will flop at your feet and demand love—because she knows she deserves it.

Meet Sapphire, a 5-month-old spayed silver tabby with white who is equal parts sweet, silly, and charming. This outgoing girl has a big personality and isn't shy about showing it. Sapphire's signature move is her dramatic “flop.” She'll throw herself down in front of you, roll onto her back, and gaze up while softly cooing for attention. It's impossible not to laugh—and almost impossible not to give in to her requests for affection. She also adores being cradled in a person's arms for a longer than "normal" amount of time, impossibly cute! She thrives on interaction and happily soaks up attention from the people she trusts. Whether she's playing, charming visitors, or showing off her belly-flop routine, Sapphire is sure to keep life entertaining.

Sapphire also has a sister named Ruby, a lovely brown tabby with a quieter, more reserved personality. While they are not a bonded pair, they complement each other
beautifully—Ruby's gentle nature balances Sapphire's bold confidence, making them a delightful Yin-and-Yang match. She also gets along with other cats within her foster home.

All of our cats come spayed or neutered, microchipped, and with their initial age-appropriate vaccinations. Kittens have an adoption fee of $200 each or $300 for a bonded pair. Kittens must be adopted in pairs unless there is another young, energetic cat in the home. If you would like to apply to be a forever home for this cat, please fill out a statement of interest at www.alternativehumanesociety.com. Unless otherwise indicated, all our cats and kittens are best suited for indoor-only life.
