Sansho's Story

Meet Sansho!
This cutie is 8 weeks old and is a male Domestic Long Hair. He came to us a few weeks ago as an abandoned stray, in need of a safe place to stay. Now that he is finally old enough, it is time for him to go to his forever home!
This boy came to us having not met many humans before, and was pretty overwhelmed at first. He is still pretty shy, and is going to need time to open up in his new home. Don't worry, as he is still young enough to socialize and get used to being a house pet - it'll just take some time and patience! Sansho is a sensitive one, and tends to get more spooked. His quiet charm and sweet eyes will soon have you falling in love!
He did spend some time in our middle room with a few other kittens, and he did great with his play-mates. We have not yet seen him with dogs or kids, however. With him being on the timid side, he will likely not do well in a home with small children that don't know how to respect his boundaries. This boy is going to need a patient and dedicated owner who understands that trust isn't given, but earned. It will be important not to test him right off the bat, as this could scare him worse and make it harder for him to adjust. Slow and steady will win the race to this baby boy's heart!
Sansho is litter box trained and has received his first round of vaccinations. He is ready to get out of this scary shelter and into a calmer home where he can live that life of ease he deserves! If you think this boy could be the cat for you, come out and meet him today!
