Samuel L. Catson's Story
Samuel L. Catson is a handsome Lynx Point domestic shorthair with a thoughtful, reserved personality. He’s lived comfortably with other cats and finds confidence in having feline friends around. Change isn’t his favorite thing, and he takes time to settle into new environments—but once he feels safe, his gentle and steady nature starts to shine.

Samuel would do best in a home with older, cat-savvy children who understand how to give him space and move at his pace. He’s a loyal companion for someone patient enough to let him open up on his own terms. With calm surroundings and a little time, Samuel L. Catson becomes a warm, reassuring presence.

Meet and greet/adoption appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt!
DON'T FORGET! Cats often do better with a friend! All our cats and kittens have an "Adopt one and the 2nd at half the adoption fee!" bonus!!!

Our kitten/cat adoption fees vary on age, special needs, lonely heart status (cats that have been with us 6+ months), and for our senior to seniors program. Our adoption fees include the following: all of our cats/kittens are current on vaccinations (FVRCP series and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), treated for fleas/ticks/earmites in addition to being spayed or neutered once the cat reaches 2 lbs in weight. All cats and kittens adopted from the shelter are microchipped. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances.

Because we are on a busy street, we require that all cats leaving the shelter be in a carrier. All pets are up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee is paid.
