SAMSON's Story

Samson came to us the first time from a hoarding eviction situation. He was scooped up right away by a loving family with children. They absolutely adored him and kept him for 3 years working very hard to integrate him with their other 3 cats. The other three cats had other ideas and they finally decided it wasn't fair to him to keep putting him through the turmoil so he came back to us in hopes of finding a peaceful home where he can power lounge, be adored and love on anyone or any other pet that will allow him to.

Kossuth County Tails of Hope Rescue's Adoption Policy

We hope you’ve found your newest family member at our shelter! Next you will fill out an adoption application. You can apply online! If your application is approved, we will arrange for you and your new family member to unite fur-ever! We require adopters to fill out an online application. Once that is submitted our adoption coordinator does social checks, home checks, financial checks and reference checks to determine if the adopter meets qualifications. If an adopter rents their home they are required to provide proof of approval for animals from their landlord.

Our mission is to provide sanctuary and shelter for unwanted, lost and neglected animals; to promote the humane care and treatment of all animals through education and to actively advocate pet population control.
