Sammy & Smokey - BONDED CUDDLE BOYS

Stunningly beautiful Sammy & Smokey are deeply bonded Purebred cats that grew up together from young kittens, they are in need of a loving new home for both of them together. These adorable cuddle boys lost their previous home through no fault of their own, their previous human caregiver was diagnosed with an illness and would no longer be able to care for the kitties while undergoing a lengthy treatment. The boys went through a period of deep grieving and a feeling of loss of the only home that they had known since being kittens. They are finally feeling better and happy in their foster home and they would love for someone to adopt them as soon as possible and give them their furever home where they can grow old in and remain into their twilight golden years. <br/><br/>Sammy is a classic Chocolate Point Ragdoll, he is 1 years old with beautiful Blue Eyes and has the most insanely long ear furnishings and whiskers that make him so adorable! Smokey is a Nebelung which is the long hair version of a Blue Russian, he is 1 years old with gorgeous Jade Green eyes and a fluffy big tail. The boys are even tempered, very sweet and good natured, love to be pet and love to snuggle in bed or on the couch, their fur is so very soft just like bunny fur! Both being long haired cats they do LOVE to be brushed and cared for! <br/><br/>The boys just had their yearly Vet Health check and came out with flying colors, no dental issues-no tartar build-up and they teeth looked wonderful and white for the young cats that they are! Both are up to date on Vaccines, they are neutered, tested negative for FIV/FeLV and they are both Microchipped. They are litterbox trained and prefer unscented clumping cat litter, they both have all of their claws. <br/><br/>They will come with their custom soft fleece blankets/beds, their individual food dishes or toys they have and a brand-new covered litter box from their foster home, two covered litter boxes that are also in great condition, a Catit Senses 2.0 Flower Water fountain, a self-feeder for dry food and a small window height cat tree with scratch posts on it – all from their previous home. Sammy and Smokey originally came from a breeder without CFA papers, so their adoption fee had been adjusted to a non-papered Purebred cat.<br/><br/>Sammy and Smokey are both used to a quiet home so we feel it would be best that they go to either a couple or a single person with no young children or grandchildren living full time with them. Their previous owner did not have any children or grandchildren, but they did have visits from other adult family members and friends all the time, so older children of middle school and high school age would be okay. They are both incredible lap cats and would love to keep you company in whichever room of the house you are in. Favorite things are sunning themselves and they would adore having a cat tree close by a window where they can watch wildlife outside. <br/><br/>Smokey is the more friendly of the two, always wanting to be pet (even by a stranger) and he is more vocal. Sammy is a bit more timid and reserved but very affectionate once he gets to know you, he has your classic Ragdoll good natured but rather derpy boy temperament. Both boys have the enormous fur tufts on the bottom of their paws so they tend to slide around on non-carpet floors when chasing and playing as they have no brakes so to speak, it is very funny to watch them chase and play after the laser pointer!<br/><br/>Did I mention that both of these boys have enormous huge purring motors? Well they sure do!<br/><br/>Sammy and Smokey are used to a 8-5 schedule with breakfast being early and dinner around 5 pm and maybe a snack during the day. They are young but more settled down kitties but they can still have that playing burst of energy to play like a 6 month old kitty with their toys and with each other. We are sure they would also love for you to play with them too! They found feather wands very fun to chase and play with their foster mom!<br/><br/>Sammy and Smokey both came into rescue with very dry brittle fur that is now growing out beautiful and soft with a high-end food. Ragdoll and Nebelung breeds need to be brushed and groomed regularly otherwise they will get matted fur so their new owners will need to be able to provide that type of care to them. Some owners just have the Lion Cut done yearly in the spring so the kitties are cooler during the summer. However, these two boys truly do enjoy being brushed and will even roll over for the belly brushing and belly petting.<br/><br/>*PLEASE NOTE: We currently only have a few photos from the previous owner and one that was taken when they first came into rescue into their decompression cat condo - they were al cuddled up in that one.
