You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.SAMMY is a young, sweet and gentle boy with a playful spirit that lights up any room. He's friendly once he's warmed up and will greet you. He's Mr. Cuddles and loves snuggling and being around his people. He will gladly roll over and give you his belly (see pics). Sadly, this boy's owner decided to dump him on the streets when she moved....which is no way to ever treat a domesticated cat. (Please take them to a shelter and give them a chance.) Sammy is confused as to why his owner would leave him behind and not take him with her when she moved. Cats move just fine. We promised this sweet boy we'd find him the forever home he deserves and we hope you'll consider him.We believe he might be good with other calm cats, once properly introduced. Step Two: Phone interview and meet the cat(s) you're interested in. TEXT Anita directly at 407-460-2305 between 9-6 EST (owner's personal phone, so no late night calls please). Adoptions require home visits, NO EXCEPTIONS and you must be no further than 40 miles from zip code 34741. Be sure to check pet fees/restrictions if you rent. Step Three: Contract, Fee, & Home Visit. All of our receive age appropriate vaccinations, are spayed/neutered, treated for fleas/dewormed and are microchipped prior to going to new homes. **If you can no longer care for the cat you adopted from us, your contract REQUIRES you to contact us about returning the cat. If you find another home, you still must contact us for approval and for us to update our records.** Surrender form: https://spaythestrays.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=6099 **Some fosters screen for their own cats. In these cases, follow the instructions on that cat's page (see them on our website).
