Hi, I'm Sambuca. I have amnesia. I don't know where I'm from or am just trying to forget. I was found in a carrier on a deserted road by a mail carrier. I was brought to Petco where PAWS agreed to help me. They were so kind. They fed me, took me to the vets. I was neutered, given vaccines, tested and given a grooming. My fur was so matted that large mats needed to be shaved off. The rest were brushed out and now I'm starting to look my beautiful self. And I feel so much better. <br/><br/>I've gone through my recovery and am happy to be an indoor cat!. I'm not sure how I feel about other cats or dogs but I love my foster. I come out to visit and play. I love to play with my fish on the string. I also enjoy sleeping by her side every night. But it's time to find a forever home and I'm ready.<br/><br/>They say I'm about one year old because I have such healthy teeth. All I know is it's great to feel safe, warm and not be hungry. I still am a little reserved to start out but warm up quickly. It would be best if you are an experienced cat owner and probably don't have young children. I need someone with some patience. Do you need a special companion? I know I do.<br/><br/>Sambuca was rescued by Patuxent Animal Welfare Society, which is a 501C3 non-profit that rescues, vets and finds homes for cats and kittens through donations. Petco partners with PAWS by allowing us to use their facility to display our cats for adoption.
