Sam's Story
Hi, I’m Sam

I’m a handsome tabby gentleman with good looks and an even better personality. My sister Toni and I were found together in Southgate, MI, and from the very beginning, I’ve been what you’d call a pretty easygoing guy.

Once I was rescued, I settled into foster life like I’d been doing it forever. Safety? Love? Warm beds? Other furry friends? Yes, please. I quickly realized indoor life was the upgrade I deserved.

I love a good balance in life—play hard, cuddle harder. I’m always up for chasing toys and wrestling with my cat foster friends, but I’m just as happy curling up next to you for some quality snuggle time. I get along great with other cats and even the small dog in my foster home. I’m a social, adaptable guy who just enjoys good company.

I would absolutely love to be adopted with my sister Toni—we’ve been through a lot together and make a great team. But if that’s not possible, I’ll need a home with another friendly kitty so I can keep having a buddy to play and nap with.

If you’re looking for a sweet, affectionate, easygoing tabby who fits in just about anywhere, I’m your guy.

Sam is currently in a foster home. If you are interested in meeting him, please send a message here, or email adopt@ahsem.org.

Adoption fees are as follows: $175 for a single cat or kitten, $225 for a pair of cats or kittens. When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment.
