Meet Sam!<br/><br/>Sam is a 12-week-old American Shorthair with a handsome tabby coat and an adorable white belly. If theres one thing to know about Sam, its that he absolutely adores people. Whether youre family, a friend, or someone hes meeting for the very first time, Sam assumes youre there to love him—and hes more than happy to return the favor.<br/><br/>This affectionate little guy has never met a lap he didnt like. Hell happily curl up with visiting guests, climb onto their shoulders for a better view, or drift off to sleep in the lap of someone hes only just met. If youre working at your desk, relaxing on the couch, sleeping in bed, or even doing yoga in the living room, chances are Sam will be right there beside you, insisting on being part of the moment. And if you arent petting him quite fast enough, hell simply circle underneath your hand to make sure the pets keep coming!<br/><br/>While Sam enjoys chasing toys and wrestling with his brother, hes a little more laid-back than his brother Aragorn. Hes always up for about 30 minutes of energetic play before deciding its time for a well-earned nap in a sunny spot.<br/><br/>Sam shares an incredibly special bond with his brother, Aragorn. The two can often be found stretched out together in patches of sunlight, grooming one another, or tumbling around in playful wrestling matches. They truly adore each other, and it would mean the world for them to find a forever home together.<br/><br/>Sam has been raised in a home with four adult cats. Unlike his adventurous brother, he isnt especially interested in winning them over and generally prefers to keep to himself around the older cats. Because of this, he may not be the best choice if youre specifically looking for a companion for your resident adult cat.<br/><br/>He has done well with children over the age of five. Because hes social, curious, and likes to be involved in everything youre doing, he may be a bit overwhelming for younger children. Sam has not lived with dogs, but his friendly and curious personality suggests he could adjust well to a calm, cat-friendly dog with slow, proper introductions.<br/><br/>If youre looking for a constant companion, a professional cuddle buddy, and a kitten who believes every person is his new best friend, Sam is the perfect match.
