Sally's Story
Sally is a senior domestic short hair with a beautiful black and white coat. She is fully vetted through Forgotten Felines. Sally has no teeth, so she will need to remain on a soft canned food diet.

She originally came to us as a TNR candidate and was scheduled to go to a barn home. While she was sedated for her spay, we discovered that her remaining teeth were in very poor condition and required extraction. Because of this, she cannot hunt and will not be a mouser, but she can still live comfortably in a barn or outdoor home if someone is willing to provide daily canned food and look after her.

Sally has never been an indoor cat, and although she does warm up to people with time, she does not tolerate being picked up. She uses the litter box, but she is nervous and needs a moment to settle.

We are open to placing her now if someone can offer a weather appropriate outdoor setup for the winter and commit to feeding her a soft diet. If not, she can remain with us until the weather warms up and it is safe for her to transition. While this is not our usual placement preference, her personality and history make this a reasonable option as long as she will be cared for properly.

Sally is a lovely senior girl, and she would also make a wonderful companion for someone who appreciates a vintage feline. She came in with her kitten, who has since been adopted, and we would love to find her the best home possible.

If you can offer Sally a safe and caring home, please reach out to us.
