SALEM's Story
Salem is a very nice medium- to long-haired boy who’s had some rough times. He was adopted previously but recently was turned in to the animal shelter as a stray where they checked his microchip and contacted us. His fur was just about all gone due to fleas, which have been treated, and his fur is coming back nicely now. Salem is playful and enjoys having company for himself and being brushed. He’s not too fond of other cats, but with time that might change. For now he may be best in a home as the only pet. He had a considerable limp when he came back to us, and when we had x-rays done and a minor surgery, there was found a small caliber bullet that had lodged in his hip joint! Salem is walking better, but still has a slight limp so he should be an indoor only cat.
