Salamanca and Douro's Story

Like so many of Clear Creek’s kittens, Douro and Salamanca were born under tough circumstances. Did they let that identify their future – Absolutely Not!

These two allowed themselves to be loved by humans. They both have become loving purr kittens. They are eager to play and engage with their humans – and they love to eat.

Salamanca is a ginger-colored kitten. He literally purrs all the time and his tail is up in the air as he is proud to strut through the house, following his human. Are you brave enough to discover his personality as he matures?

Douro is a tough little girl. She struts around the house much like a linebacker while plowing her way into your heart. She has a strong personality and is fearless. She is determined as evidenced by escaping from her playpen much to the bafflement of her human. She will do well in house with boundaries and a loving elder who will help show her the way.

These little imps will need a kitty friend in their new homes, but NOT each other. They had a little sibling rivalry going at the moment. A friend and a place to play safely in a yard; that is important for them to develop their best kitty personalities.

They are about 3 months old and will be ready for adoption very soon!
