Sal's Story
SAL wants to be your best purring pal. He's from Queens so he projects his purring loudly & meaningfully.
SAL knows he's a lucky feline fellow. He was trapped behind a store in Jamaica, Queens. The kind trapper noticed he had an open gash on his head. She also saw he was quite friendly.
His rescuer brought him to the Last Hope low cost public TNR clinic last Sunday.
She spoke up about SAL to Team TNR. Our crew saw how sweet he was too, despite the cut on his head .
Out of 36 ferals at the clinic, SAL was the only cat determined to be socialized enough to be added to the Last Hepe Adoption program.
Our vet gave him a two week antibiotic shot of Convenia to speed up the healing of his open abscess.
SAL was so happy to be noticed twice, and moved along the rescue trail from wounded intact stray to TNRed male to adoption cat candidate at Last Hope.
Hey! That's better than going from rags to riches; it's more like moving from hell to Harvard ...all because he was fortunate to meet guardian angels along the way .
SAL's next stop -Harvard (aka Last Hope) adopted alumnus. Come meet SAL from Jamaica, Queens.
SAL will sell himself.

If you are interested in learning more, email us at adoptions@lasthopeanimalrescue.org
