Saffron's Story

Hi there! I'm Saffron, and I have a very important question for you... Do you have room in your heart for two ridiculously lovable brothers? Because my brother Pepper and I are a package deal!

I'm about 2 years old, unbelievably friendly, endlessly playful, and an absolute CHAMPION cuddler. Basically, I'm the whole package. I also happen to be quite the social butterfly. When visitors come to the shelter, I make it my personal mission to greet everyone. And if you dare to stop petting me before I'm ready, I might just gently grab your hand to remind you that -we are not finished here, human.

My brother Pepper? He's usually right behind me, patiently waiting for his turn to soak up the attention. Then he'll dramatically flop over and offer you his belly for pets. We both have our ways of winning people over.

Our story started near a farm in Milton, PA, where we were living outside alongside more than 15 other cats. We're not sure how we ended up there, but unwanted cats are unfortunately often dumped in the area. Thankfully, a wonderful woman made sure we were fed and cared for. When winter temperatures dropped below freezing, she opened her home to us so we wouldn't have to face the bitter cold. She eventually contacted Stray Cat Sanctuary, and that's how our lives began to change.

Now, we're neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and have tested negative for FeLV/FIV. We get along wonderfully with the other shelter cats, adore people, and are ready for our next big adventure!

There's just one little catch: - Pepper is my absolute best friend, and we MUST be adopted together. We've been through a lot side by side, and we're hoping to find a family who understands that some things are simply better in pairs.

My shelter mom says we're an absolute joy, and I've received SO many compliments from visitors about how special I am. (I try to stay humble, but honestly, have you met me?)

We had a rough start to life, but we're ready for a future filled with cozy naps, full food bowls, endless belly rubs, and people who love us as much as we'll love them.

Could you be the person who gives Pepper and me our happily ever after? We promise to repay you with twice the love, twice the purrs, and twice the entertainment. All we need is a chance.

adoption application:
https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SCPA/Cat
