Sadie's Story
(Français suit) Sadie was found hiding in a hole in a closet, in a house that had been sold a month ago. As no one was answering messages to come get her , the new home owner left her at a high kill pound. Within 24 hours Sadie was in one of our foster homes. We don’t know how she survived that long alone. . Sadie was traumatized, and really skinny. It took her a long time to be able to let her foster interact with her. She had anemia which has now cleared up. Sadie is very timid ,and learning how to trust humans again. She’s around 8 months old. Sadie has the most perfect little face and such beautiful eyes. She likes to lay on her fosters back , and purrs so loud even when shes not being petted. She likes to play with the catnip donut and looking out the window. She’s learning how to play with toys. Sadie dislikes: sudden movements, being picked up, and will only eating when her foster is in the room. Adorable quirks : she snores in her sleep. Sadie has come a long way from being the shy kitten hiding under the bed. She’s most improved being close to her foster ( she will sometimes find her cuddling with her when she wakes up ) hardly hides under the bed( unless someone new comes in ) and she is starting to explore the appartement a bit. What her foster loves the most about her :” she’s loyal and she always knows when i need cuddles”. Sadie will need a patient human who will earn her trust . She is definitely a one person cat , as she is still not bonding with her fosters Roomate. A small appartement with someone that spends a lot of time at home would be perfect for her so she can blossom. No kids or dogs. Scary fact : The day she was sterilized her uterus was 5 times the normal size ! She was in early stage of Pyometra. It was done just in time. Sadie has been vaccinated , dewormed, sterilized, microchipped, and has tested negative for feline aids and leukaemia. She is ready to find her perfect match.
