Saba's Story

Saba adores attention and isn’t shy about asking for it, often with chirps and prrps. She tends to communicate by staring at you until you notice, then coming over and rearing up to meet your hand. While she’s not a traditional lap cat, Saba still enjoys snuggles, especially when she can curl up on your legs at night.

Every now and then, Saba is taken by a fit of zoomies and has to run around singing the song of her people.

Saba likes other cats and will engage in play and chase with other cats, though she’s a little socially quirky. She thrives best with mellow, easygoing cat friends who won’t mind her awkwardness.

Saba would do wonderfully with a human who understands cat body language and is willing to provide a consistent, structured routine. A potential adopter would need to be willing to keep her on a food schedule, at least at first, to help her settle in.

Saba is about 5 years old and she is spayed, FeLV and FIV negative, current on shots, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and litter box trained.

Adoption fee: $100 (plus tax)

To adopt, please fill out an application at www.projectmeow.org/adopt/adoption-application/

For additional information, contact us at adoptions@projectmeow.org

Project MEOW is a 501(c)3 non-profit animal rescue organization and is dedicated to saving the lives of West Philadelphia's homeless, abandoned, and unwanted animals.

Thank you for looking to rescue a furbaby!
