Ruth's Story
Formerly "Baby Ruth", I have shortened my name simply to Ruth as I am not a mature, older gal :)

I was brought into the humane society when I was just a few days old. Sadly, I had been orphaned and needed a bottle feeder to take care of me in the absence of my mama. My fosters took incredible care of me and had planned to keep me, yet due to unforeseen circumstances they were unable to finalize the adoption.

I was recently returned to the shelter and have had a bit of a difficult time settling into my new environment. The staff understands the level of fear and stress I am experiencing and hope to find me a new home where I can continue to decompress. I previously lived with a large breed dog and other cats but am presently showing high anxiety around the other cats in the room.

I will need a patient adopter who gives me time to approach and accept affection on my own terms. They say the comeback is greater than the setback so who's willing to embark on this journey with me?
