Rusty and Poe's Story

Meet Rusty and Poe, an uncle and nephew duo that will warm your heart and fill your home with love! Rusty and Poe were living with 15 other cats/siblings until recently when their owners were evicted and no longer able to care for them. All cats were placed with BAA right away, and luckily we were able to find fosters for all of them. These two boys are not only relatives but best friends and are looking for their forever home together. Having been raised indoors from birth, these two are extremely affectionate and loving. Poe is the smaller of the two, and his favorite activities include chasing his wand toys and watching the washing machine go round and round. Rusty, the larger guy, is an absolute love bug who loves to climb on to his foster mom's lap, and just be near her at all times. These two will add so much love and happiness to their future forever home! They are neutered, tested negative for FELV/FIV and up-to-date on vaccines. Brooklyn Animal Action's Adoption Policy

Interested adopters should first fill out an adoption application on our website, after which they can visit our adoptable animals in their foster homes. We also hold weekly adoption events and have animals at pet stores in Brooklyn. If the application is approved, the adopter will be asked to sign an adoption contract. We also ask for an adoption fee to help us continue our work.
