He's very affectionate and is happy to sit on your lap for love and attention.<br/><br/>In typical orange fashion, Rusty loves to explore and treats each day as an adventure. Young and full of fun energy, catnip mice and chewy boxes are the cats meow, as is his temptation treats! <br/><br/>Rusty has not been tested with other pets but given his gentle, sweet and outgoing personality, with proper introductions we think he would do fine. Same goes for kiddos who are respectful of the usual kitty boundaries. Due to limited volunteer power, applications submitted for cats or kittens no longer available will not be reviewed. <br/><br/>About Ten Lives:<br/><br/>Ten Lives Cat Rescue is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit organization located in Rhode Island. Our foster-based program is 100% volunteer-powered. We do not have a facility or shelter with regular visiting hours. Out of respect for the time, privacy, and safety of our foster families, we require an approved adoption application before scheduling a meet and greet with a foster cat. <br/><br/>Our goal is to place cats in their best-matched homes and facilitate lifelong adoptions. We do not review applications on a first-come, first-serve basis. We believe that veterinary care is an important part of cat guardianship. As such, a veterinary check is part of our adoption process. Our goal is to contact applicants within 96 business hours of receiving their application. During kitten season, wait times may be longer due to the influx of applications. We are all volunteers and kindly ask for your patience! <br/><br/>All Ten Lives cats are spayed or neutered, receive age-appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLv and parasites, dewormed, treated for fleas, and microchipped. These services are inclusive of the adoption fee.
