Russell Feral's Story
1-year-old female tabby who is feral and looking for a very specific placement. She is FIV positive, but that does not stop her from living a healthy, full life in the right environment.

Because of her feral nature, she will need a safe outdoor or barn-style home with space to roam, shelter, and minimal direct handling--similar to other working cats. She is not suited for an indoor pet home, but she can thrive in a calm, stable outdoor setting where she is allowed to live independently.

She is already spayed, vaccinated, and ready to go to the right placement. There is no adoption fee for her. What she truly needs is a patient property or barn home that can offer her safety, consistency, and respect for her boundaries. Please call the shelter at (706) 795-2868 to schedule a meet and greet.

Madison Oglethorpe Animal Shelter is a non-profit shelter serving over 720 square miles. We are open intake, meaning we can not turn away animals from either county we serve. Our shelter intakes double or triple it's capacity every month so it is essential we place animals quickly into adoptive homes. Since so many animals enter the shelter we often don't have enough volunteers to write an individual bio for each. Please feel free to call the shelter Wednesday-Sunday to inquire about the animal you are interested in. 706-795-2868.

Viewing and adoption hours at our shelter are Wednesday through Sunday from 12 PM to 5 PM.
All adoption fees include age-appropriate vaccinations, flea treatment, deworming, and spay or neuter, microchip, and adoption packet.
Fees:
Dogs over 6 months old: $100
Puppies under 6 months: $200.
Cats and Kittens are $75 ($65 without microchip).

For your convenience you can fill out an adoption application for any of our current residents at www.moaspets.com.
