Runner's Story

Say hello to stunning RUNNER. This captivating lady has a fluffy, long-haired steel grey coat. RUNNER is estimated to be between one to two years old.

RUNNER received her name from a caring and concerned woman in the neighborhood who had routinely noticed this elusive, wandering stray. After a few failed attempts at catching her, success was finally had! RUNNER was humanely trapped and slightly unsure and untrusting upon arrival at our cat center. RUNNER had some matted fur that was trimmed and shaved which added to her beautiful "glow up"! RUNNER is an interesting girl, and we are still learning more about her unique personality with each passing day. What we do know is that she is accepting of pets on her terms. She will also let you know if she is not in the mood! A savvy pet owner who knows how to read cat behaviors would be ideal. We believe RUNNER would thrive best with lots of space to roam and window watch. RUNNER is an independent kind-of-gal, and not so much a lap cat. For the most part, RUNNER has a calm, quiet, relaxed demeanor. However, she yearns for a bit more freedom than the shelter environment has to offer. RUNNER likes to observe everything that's going on and would adore a home to stake her claim and call her very own. RUNNER is ready for that next big step in her life and that is to have the right person or family accept her for who she is and allow her to live a happy, healthy life on her terms and set at her pace.

Spayed, Rabies and FVRCP vaccinated, FeLV/FIV tested negative, Flea preventative applied and Microchipped.

If you'd like to meet RUNNER, or any of our adoptable cats or kittens, please fill out an Adoption Form found in the link: https://pawswatch.org/adoptions/
