Rufus is a docile, sweetheart. He is a bit on the shy side at first like most kitties, but when he warms up he will ask for belly rubs and chirp for affection. He is very easy going, and would do perfectly well by himself, with his brother Gene or with another kitty that needs company. He is an independent loving cat that enjoys his humans company the most! He can be picked up easily, and held like a baby. He loves lounging by the window birdie watching. He loves playing with his brother, toys or his human! Rufus has such a gentle and loving soul. He is a perfect kitty looking for his perfect loving home!

Amira's Pet Rescue, Inc.'s Adoption Policy
We have an adoption application. Once a potential adopters application is approved we do a video interview that includes a home check. We also verify the potential adopter has a verified vet. We call the vet to make sure all existing animals are up to date on vaccines and pet care. Then if all goes well the adopter is eligible to adopt one of our rescue animals.
