Ruffles is an extra friendly lap cat, who loves to play, loves food, and likes other cats.<br/><br/>Mellow and loving<br/>O Ruffles is a mellow and calmer kitten. When introduced to an 8 year old girl, the first time hed ever met a child, he went right up to her to make friends and play with her.<br/>O Ruffles is not phased by much. Hes just a happy and loving boy, who seems to like everything, especially cuddles, play, food, and treats.<br/>O On the Fourth of July, Ruffles wasnt disturbed at all by the bangs. He was far more interested in playing with teasers and the red dot than what was going on outside<br/><br/>Extra Friendly<br/>O Ruffles likes people. He runs up to them for attention and pats. If you scratch him on top of his head, hell lean his neck back and purr.<br/>O Ruffles likes to sit on laps and snuggle beside people. Hell climb up to your chest to lean against your neck sometimes, or curl up in a ball on your lap or beside you to purr while you pet him. Ruffles will stay with you for a long time and nap on you too.<br/>O If you lie down or sit back on a recliner, Ruffles will hop up on your chest and nuzzle your face and ears for awhile. Then, hell settle down on your legs and nap as long as you let him.<br/>O Ruffles is okay with being picked up and held, but its not always his favorite thing. Sometimes, hell snuggle. Sometimes, hell jump out of your<br/>arms.<br/>O Ruffles likes to kneed and mock nurse on fluffy blankets. Youd probably get him instantly if you put a fluffy blanket on your lap, but its been far too hot to try that late.<br/><br/>Playful<br/>O Ruffles is a sweet and playful boy who likes playing chase and wrestling with his siblings, playing with small toys like balls and mice, and chasing teasers and the laser pointers.<br/>O Ruffles likes to play with braids. If you have a long braid or long hair, hell sit in your lap or next to you to play with it. He also likes playing with hairbrushes.<br/>O Ruffles loves the laser pointer, but prefers the red dot not to move too fast or too far from his paws.<br/><br/>Loves food<br/>O Ruffles loves food. When hes hungry, hell claim a dry food bowl and push other kittens away from it, guarding it with his paws. But hell happily share the plate of wet food with his siblings.<br/>O Ruffles adores treats. Hell run right over for them.<br/>O If you offer Ruffles a lickable treat, hell climb right up on your lap for it.<br/>O Part of the reason Ruffles loves food so much is that hes growing a lot. At 3 1/2 months, he was already well over 5 pounds. Hes going to be the largest cat of his litter.<br/><br/>Not a Solo Cat<br/>O Ruffles is not a solo cat. He needs a buddy. Ruffles has never been alone, without other cats, and he wouldnt like it at all.<br/>O Ruffles would love to be adopted with one of his brothers: Pringle or Kettle. They love each other. Ruffles would be equally happy to be adopted with one of his friends, Bruno or Mirada.<br/>O However, Ruffles would be happy with another cat too, as long as the other cat would play with him and wouldnt mind being bounced on or having their tail chased.<br/><br/>Meet<br/>O You can meet Ruffles on Saturdays from 12 to 4 at the Meoowz adoption event at the Buena Park Petco or at his fosters home by arrangement.
