Rue A Stunning Girl Ready for the Gentle Home She Deserves's Story

Meet Rue,

Rue’s story breaks our hearts. This beautiful girl was found abandoned on the side of the road, left inside a cat carrier with no way to help herself. We don’t know how long she was there, but thankfully a local Animal Control officer spotted her and contacted us right away. We brought her straight to the vet, where she received a full exam and was found to be a healthy young lady, estimated to be about 3 years old.

Rue is truly a beauty, and she has shown us that she wants to be friendly and trusting. She can be a little standoffish at times — and who could blame her after what she’s been through. We haven’t introduced her to the other shelter cats yet, as we want to give her time to decompress and feel safe.

With patience, kindness, and love, Rue will blossom into the sweetheart she’s meant to be. We recommend a quiet home without dogs or young children so she can start fresh in a calm, gentle environment where she can finally feel secure and cherished.

Rue is ready for her second chance — and she deserves a home that will never let her down again.

Rue has been:
Spayed
Given the necessary vaccines
Combo tested negative (FIV / FeLV)
Microchipped
