Rudy's Story

Meet Rudy, an orange tabby and white junior with a playful, affectionate personality. He loves attention, enjoys being cuddled, and is always ready for interactive play. Rudy came to the shelter as a very young kitten needing immediate medical care after being found all alone in a five-acre field. He has since made a full recovery and is now a healthy, happy young cat. Because Rudy grew up without a mother cat or littermates, he missed out on some of the lessons kittens usually learn about appropriate play and affection. As a result, he can sometimes become overly enthusiastic and a little nippy when seeking attention. Rudy responds well to gentle correction and redirection and would do best with a cat-savvy adult with no young children who can provide daily playtime and help him continue learning good boundaries. Rudy is a sweet, engaging cat who enjoys being with people and has lots of love to give.

Please use RUDYs intake number (A060500) when making inquiries at the shelter.

All cats available for adoption at the Calaveras Animal Shelter are up-to-date on their routine vaccinations will be microchipped.
