Rudder's Story

Rudder doesn’t have a mean bone in her body. She is a little shy at first, but after she warms up, loves nothing more than to cuddle and receive pets, even being obsessed with belly rubs. She has an electric purr that we refer to as a “popcorn machine”. Playtime is one of her favorite times of day and she enjoys following her foster brother around and adventuring. She also loves meal time and never has turned down food or a yummy treat.<br/><br/>Rudder is about 4 months old old, UTD on vaccines, negative for FIV and FELV, and will be spayed through the rescue soon.<br/><br/>Rudder must be adopted to a home with another young, active cat. Heidi Wrangles Cats's Adoption Policy
You can find our adoption application at https://form.jotform.com/202927809015052 All cats are dewormed, treated for fleas, tested for FIV/FELV and negative unless otherwise noted, vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed/neutered. Kittens too young to be spayed/neutered and still needing boosters on vaccines will be arranged by the rescue once old enough. Our adoption fee is $175 which goes towards the above vetting and allows us to continue rescuing new cats. All kittens under 6 months old must be adopted with another kitten unless you have a young playful cat at home. Applicants must be 18+. The person applying must be the primary caretaker off the cats/kittens, we do not accept applications for kittens as gifts. Please note we are a Brooklyn, NY based rescue. Applicants must live in, or near NYC.
