Rosita: courtesy post's Story
Rosita was rescued at a few months old and lived in the same home for the rest of her 7.5 years. Mostly called Ninja, she loves to play and to surprise her parent with her slightly wacky calico energy, often anticipating how her human playmate would react and having a next step planned in the game she is creating. She is a charming little alpha full of fun and love but also needing a bit of dominance in her territory.

Shy and cautious with strangers and in new situations, she may disappear when guests arrive. Otherwise, she followed her human around, interacting much of the time both for pets and for play. Rosita has been in two foster situations since her human could no longer care for her and is waiting to find her new and truly forever home. She is a mush with her foster, loving head rubs and scritches and generously giving back head butts and kisses. She does get overstimulated at times and gives clear signals, like moving away quickly to a distance or sometimes giving a gentle slap or nip to indicate that she's had enough. She will likely become calmer when she feels more settled with someone who knows her well and this sweet kitty can safely stop readjusting to new worlds.

Please email jbalish@verizon.net to apply for this lovely lady and her bestie!
