Rosie's Story
Please contact Della @ (kittycityks@aol.com) for more information about this pet.
Our adoption center is open both Saturday & Sunday every weekend!
Saturday's noon-5pm
&
Sunday's noon-4pm.

Rosie is the sweetest, most gentle, little lap kitty. She is very affectionate and loves to greet her human with headbutts and kisses and then immediately starts making biscuits and purring to show how happy she is. Rosie plays with her toys by herself, but she also likes for her human to play with her with the wand toy. She also loves to be stroked and brushed, especially at bedtime. Rosie is very friendly and social and will make a great little companion.
Rosie was rescued off the streets fending for herself. You can see it in her face how appreciative she is of being inside and eating well. She will do best in a mature home or one with older, cat-savvy children (8+). Rosie has been around other cats at her foster Mom’s home and has shown no aggression so she will likely do okay in a home with other gentle cat-friendly cats, given slow and appropriate introductions. She is very unsure of dogs – probably because she had bad experiences outside -- so very slow introductions would have to take place and only with cat-friendly dogs who have been around kitties.
Rosie was born approximately April 3, 2025, and her adoption fee is $105, or adopt two and the second is one-half price. She is spayed, up-to-date on shots and deworming, has a microchip, and tested negative for feline leukemia virus.

You can visit our adoptable cats and kittens during weekend business hours at our adoption center, address and times above. During the week, all our kitties live in licensed foster homes, and while most do come to the adoption center each weekend, not every kitty attends every weekend. For more information, or to confirm whether a particular cat or kitten will be present that weekend, please email kittycityks@aol.com. Kitty City Kansas Rescue is a volunteer, non-profit organization.
