Rosie's Story

Meet Rosie, a beautiful two-year-old petite tabby with a gentle soul and a playful spirit. Though she may be small in size, Rosie has a personality that fills the room. She is affectionate, curious, and still very much a young cat who enjoys playtime, cozy naps, and being close to her people. Whether she’s chasing toys, exploring her surroundings, or curling up nearby for attention, Rosie brings warmth and charm everywhere she goes.

Rosie came to us after her guardians were faced with the difficult decision to surrender her due to a move that unfortunately could not include pets. While the transition has been a big change for her, Rosie has shown us what a loving and resilient girl she truly is. She enjoys human companionship and quickly wins people over with her sweet nature and expressive tabby face.

As Rosie has settled in, we’ve learned that she is happiest when she doesn’t have to share her space with other cats. She loves being the center of attention and feels most comfortable and confident as the only feline in the home. Rosie is very much a little princess — she knows what she likes, enjoys having her own space, and thrives when she can bond closely with her humans without the stress of competing with other pets.

Rosie would do best in a calm, loving home where she can be the one and only cat, soaking up affection and enjoying a stable environment. In return, she’ll reward her new family with companionship, sweetness, and plenty of playful moments. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate young cat who will happily rule your home and your heart, Rosie may be the perfect match.

For more information and instructions on how to apply, please visit https://thepetrefuge.org/adopt/ Completing an adoption application is always the first step.
