Rosie's Story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Rosie! Rosie was adopted from the rescue as a kitten nine years ago and is now looking for a new home, through no fault of her own (members of Rosie's family have developed allergies).

Rosie is a sweet cat who is friendly with adults but does not care for kids. She is skittish around children and would prefer an adult-only home, where she will be more comfortable. She has always been a solo cat and has lived fully indoors. She is spayed, negative for FIV/FeLV, and current on vaccines (Rabies, FVRCP, and feline leukemia). She is also current on parasite prevention.

Rose's current owner says " She is loyal and smart as a whip. She would fetch a string and bring it back to me like a dog. My sister was amazed. In the morning when I make my bed, I’ll say, 'ok, Rose, you know the drill,' and she immediately goes and sits at the end of the bed! Rose would be a wonderful companion to a couple with no kids and no pets, or a single person wanting a loyal and sweet buddy. She’s not high energy and does not scratch everything up. In that way she is almost perfect for older people.
