Rosetta - Winterville, GA's Story
UUGGGGHHHHH how has no one snatched up Miss Rosetta yet?! Rosetta and her kittens were pulled from one of the local shelters this spring. Her kittens are all grown up and (mostly) adopted out, but we *always* take the mom when we pull kittens because we want to clear the cage for the shelter. So we end up with a few spare momma cats...worth it!

Rosetta is an absolute doll. She's gentle, calm, and affectionate, and goes limp like a ragdoll when you pick her up. Got a toddler who will parade the kitty around unceremoniously? Rosetta. First time cat owner and feel awkward picking kitty up and holding/loving on them? Rosetta. Bonus, she's medium haired and soft like a bunny. While she occasionally plays and gets the zoomies, she's pretty low energy. Combine those two features, and Rosetta makes for a fan-freaking-tastic plush companion pillow for your home!

One thing about Rosetta...she's a live and let live kinda gal when it comes to other cats. She enjoys watching other cats run around in a playful manner and even gets a bit excited like she wants to join, but she's very hit or miss once they get in her space. Some cats she ignores, others she grumbles at, and she hates our resident fluffy male (he normally instigates, in her defense). She can definitely co-exist with other cats that give her space and we think she might even befriend other kitties with a little time and patience, given her general interest in the activities of everyone else when we let her roam. Alas, that's a box we don't open often given how she and our resident male feel about one another. We do offer a two week trial period that we can extend to a month, of course :) We love Rosetta in our house, but living in our guest bedroom she doesn't get half the attention she wants/deserves, so come meet this sweetie today!

Adoption Application - http://fs17.formsite.com/cofas/catform/

All of our cats and kittens are fostered in homes so we know their personalities. They are spayed or neutered, tested for FIV and FeLV, up to date on shots, microchipped, de-wormed, and on flea preventative. Our goal is to match our fosters with the best home possible.

The adoption fees for our felines are as follows: $150 for kittens (or 2 for $250); $100 for adult cats (or 2 for $170); and $75 each for our special seniors/FIV+ kitties. Please email cofaspets@gmail.com for more information.

Not yet ready to adopt? You can sponsor a pet now to help pay for medical expenses, special diets, toys and treats, emergency medical care, etc. Our adoption fee rarely covers our expenses, so any size donation is appreciated!
