Rosemary's Story
Rosemary is a sweet independent kitten who is looking for her forever human(s). She was found by her foster, meowing for help after her sisters, Juniper and Sage, had gotten trapped in an upright pipe in the ground. She's settled into indoor cat life nicely.

Rosemary loves to be loved, but she is not a fan of being picked up and carried. She will come and ask you for pets, will sit in your lap, purr for brushing, and will snuggle you all night long under the covers, but she wants the freedom to be able to choose if she stays or goes. She's curious and playful, and loves to be in high places, like the top of the cat tower. She is a communicator and will tell you stories in sweet little trills and purrs.

While she is mostly black, she has an adorable white bikini bottom on her belly, white armpits, and seems to be sprouting more white hairs on her tail very day.

It would be ideal if Rosemary was adopted with Juniper, but she will do fine with another friendly and confident cat. She was found in a yard with a dog, so she may be okay with dogs too, but has not met any since rescue. She has met many strangers of all ages, and while she can start out nervous, usually settles into curious and inquisitive in a short time. She will hide from louder small children, but may be able to adjust with a slow introduction and time, and plenty of safe spaces above their reach.

Rosemary is currently with a foster who works from home in a quiet environment. There is a robot vacuum that runs daily, and while it is not her favorite appliance she will watch it from her perch without panic.

Age/DOB: 8-16-2025
I am spayed, tested negative for FIV/ FeLV, microchipped, dewormed, treated with Revolution, and am up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines.
You may apply to adopt at www.purrsandwhiskers.org/adopt
