When she first arrives somewhere new, she may choose a quiet hiding spot while she settles in, but with patience and kindness her sweet personality soon begins to shine.<br/><br/>Once she feels safe, Rose enjoys exploring at her own pace, spending time near her people, and receiving soft, gentle pets. She has a calm, affectionate nature and makes a lovely, peaceful companion.<br/><br/>Rose gets along well with kids, other cats, and dogs. She shares a special bond with Jenga, and they are hoping to find a forever home where they can stay together and continue being the perfect pair.<br/><br/>Medical note: Rose has pulmonary stenosis, a rare heart condition in cats. An echocardiogram showed that her overall heart function is currently good and she is not showing concerning symptoms. A baseline proBNP blood test—used to measure a hormone released when the heart is under strain—was completed and her levels were within the normal range.
