Hi! My name is Rosa. I'm a beautiful medium haired brown tabby female born approximately 1/01/2018. I came to Wild Blue Cats as an owner surrender after experiencing a stressful situation in my previous home. I was very nurturing toward the other kitty when she was young, but as she grew older, she began chasing me, even when I tried to use the litter box. This caused me a great deal of anxiety, and I eventually became too frightened to use the box consistently. I'm now looking for a peaceful, predictable home where I can feel safe and never have to worry about being chased or bullied again.<br/>I'm an affectionate but shy and sensitive girl who may remain tucked inside my cozy hiding place until I feel comfortable. If you approach me slowly and gently, I'll happily accept pets and reward you with a wonderful purr. I especially love head, face, and chin scratches, as well as being brushed. When I'm feeling content, I may roll around, make biscuits, and settle in to enjoy all the affection you have to offer. I'm generally more interested in quiet companionship rather than nonstop activity, but I occasionally enjoy playing with a feather wand. I can also become overstimulated by too much attention, so I'll appreciate someone who respects my signals and allows me to decide when I'm ready for more.<br/>IF my future home includes another cat, I'll need a calm, respectful feline companion and the strict following of Wild Blue's gradual introduction process to help me feel secure. I recently had a dental and I'm recovering well. Again, I'll need a patient family who will give me time to adjust and understand everything that I've been through.
